What it does

Live Square data
Sign in with Square once. Every order (items, customer, payment, totals, tip, discount) lands in a clean table you can filter, pivot, or wire into Looker Studio and other dashboards.
Continuous import, free
Press play on a connection and Square Checker keeps your sheet current in the cloud, hourly, even when the spreadsheet is closed and your computer is off. No subscription needed.
Always know where you stand
Every connection shows when it last synced, how many orders are in your sheet, and when the next sync is due.
Resumes after timeouts
Google Apps Script caps any single run at about 6 minutes. Square Checker saves its progress after every page of orders and picks up where it stopped on the next run, so even years of history finish importing.
Multiple Square accounts
Add as many connections as you need. Each one signs in to its own Square account, covers the locations you choose, and writes to its own tab in the spreadsheet you set it up in.
Your data stays yours
Square Checker asks Square for read-only access and never sees your password. It works only in the spreadsheets you use it in and can't reach the rest of your Drive, and your orders go straight from Square to your sheet.

How it works

  1. Install Square Checker from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. In any Google Sheet, open Extensions → Square Checker → Open, choose Sign in with Square, and pick the locations and tab for your connection.
  3. Press play on the connection's card. Square Checker pulls your orders straight away and then keeps the tab current on its own.

That's the whole flow. Square Checker saves its progress as it goes, so no order is imported twice.
